Summary: We chose this hotel as a convention site while visiting the Steamtown site. The access to convention meeting rooms was the worst since our organization was founded 60 years ago. We could not set up displays after we all booked our rooms. When we set up displays the management locked members out of the display and meeting rooms. Staff members doing food service were great but that couldn't cover for the failed attitude for management of convention space. This is not the way to treat historical societies who visit Steamtown ... The failure of convention support will spread to other historical societies as many of us hold additional memberships in groups that would be your customers. You need to change convention management to properly host historical society meetings in the future... If ever!

Summary: Superb hotel downtown Scranton. Parking $5per day which is a bit off. Beautiful lobby and resturant in converted railway station and railway head office. Nice rooms but was striking was how friendly all the staff were. Reception, bar,room cleaners. Really welcoming.

Summary: What a unique and beautiful place to stay. I loved every detail of this beautiful old fashioned hotel. The way the original structure of the train station has been preserved is awesome. The food at Trax was very good and service was also. Beds were comfortable and breakfast this morning was very reasonably price and Shannon our waitress could not have been nicer. Will definitely stay here again!

Summary: Food and beds were comfortable. However, the room was so overcrowded with beds that it was difficult to get to one side of one of the beds without breaking/skinning a leg.

Summary: I chose this hotel because the pictures on Hotels.com looked really nice, the location is right downtown, and the price was very reasonable. I was extremely impressed. It is a beautiful place! The lobby is outstanding! My room was great. The food at both restaurants was excellent. The staff is really nice. Parking was $5 per day. Very reasonable. I will definitely stay here again the next time I travel to Scranton. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice this place was! Highly recommend!!
